StroboPro

A strobe tuner that shows you every partial

Needles and bars hide what your instrument is actually doing. StroboPro draws the harmonics as rotating strobe rings, so you tune the whole sound, not just the fundamental.

Why a strobe display

Standard needle and chromatic tuners track a single fundamental frequency and average out the rest. A strobe display rotates each harmonic at its own speed and direction, which makes small errors and complex overtones visible at a glance. That is how piano tuners and luthiers have worked for a century, minus the hardware.

  1. Ten partials, tracked at once

Pro mode follows up to 10 harmonics simultaneously, so you can see inharmonicity and overtone drift on piano, steel guitar, or any instrument with a complicated spectrum. The free tier is fully functional and ad-free, with four fixed harmonic rings.

  2. Down to the bottom of the piano

A dedicated low-note path detects pitches down to A-1 at 13.75 Hz, below the range where most tuners give up. Tuba, bass, and the piano's left end all read steady.

  3. A tuning library that travels

Seventeen built-in instruments cover guitar, bass, piano, violin, cello, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, pedal steel and more. Create your own tunings, sync them across devices, and share any tuning as a link.
